The Central European Programming Contest '08 is one of the 38 regional contests that select teams for the finals of the 33rd Annual ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest held in Stockholm, Sweden, on April 18–22, 2009. The ACM contest is a programming world championship for college students. It was started in 1976/7 as a local contest in United States, now it spans all over the world. CEPC'08 draws students from colleges and universities throughout Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia, and Slovakia, and will be held on November 28–30, 2008 at the Institute of Computer Science of the University of Wrocław.
